How can I get the Holiday Card?

You can get the Holiday Card free of charge as part of the price packages STYL Account and FIT Account. With a Holiday Card you will be able to carry out standard operations (withdrawals, payments, etc.) both at home and abroad.

  • All of Volksbank’s payment cards also enable you to make withdrawals at more than 500 ČSOB cash machines, for a mere CZK5 per withdrawal.

What does “getting a card free of charge” mean?
You don’t need to pay the administration charge for the duration of the card’s validity.


Can a Holiday Card be obtained with a current account too?
Yes, a Holiday Card can be issued as a payment card with a current account, for the standard charge for a payment card (see the Schedule of charges and rates), again with the preferential charge of CZK29 for cash machine withdrawals abroad.


Does the withdrawal charge of CZK29 apply to all countries?
Yes, withdrawal charges don’t vary from country to country.


Is there a percentage charge to be paid on top of the withdrawal charge?
No, you only pay CZK29 per withdrawal. You don’t pay a percentage on the amount being withdrawn.


Does the Holiday Card allow other operations besides making withdrawals abroad?
Yes, the Holiday Card is a normal international payment card enabling you to make payments as well as withdrawals at cash machines both in the Czech Republic and abroad. The opportunity to get money from cash machines abroad for just CZK29 is added as a bonus.


Is the current preferential charge for withdrawals abroad time-limited?
No, these preferential terms are applicable for the duration of the card’s validity.


When will this card be issued?
The Holiday Card will be issued from 1 May 2005 till 30 October 2005, or while stocks last.


Can this card be renewed after expiry?
This card isn’t renewable after its three-year period. At the card’s expiry, Volksbank is certain to offer you a new choice of payment cards at preferential terms.
