Clients now have the opportunity to set up a so-called CEE current account with any of the daughter banks of the concern to which Volksbank belongs, right at a Volksbank branch in the Czech Republic.

The concern comprises Ľudová banka in Slovakia, Volksbanks in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Hungary, Romania, Slovenia, Serbia and Malta.

Clients will find the process of setting up a current account much easier. With the assistance of bank staff in the Czech Republic, they will complete all required documents and Volksbank will take care of all communication with the respective sister Volksbank abroad. As soon as all formalities have been cleared, the clients will receive signed CEE current account agreements at their Volksbank branches in the Czech Republic.
