Utilising the combination of login name, own PIN and token code, the identity of the Internet banking user is verified safely. Electronic key is at the same time the most up-to-date instrument to authorize active bank operations. However, the bank clients can furthermore use the existing security using the signature certificate.

Token automatically generates every minute a new one-time authorization key, so-called token code with limited time validity. Using the token is therefore a guarantee of higher security when accessing Internet banking and entering payment transactions.

Volksbank will hand over electronic key (token) to all new and existing clients based on their requirement at standard branches and at Volksbank SHOPs as well. The token is activated within three working days after the contract has been signed. For handing over the token, one-time fee of CZK 250 is charged, the new key handed over after the validity of the original one has expired is free of charge.
